EXPLORATION AND HERITAGE UPDATE

WORK CONTINUES TO GATHER MOMENTUM AT THE MARBLE BAR LITHIUM PROJECT

Key Highlights:

  • Ongoing exploration program at Marble Bar Lithium Project continues with drilling completed at the exciting Twin Veins gold prospect and the drill rig has now been moved to focus on lithium targets.

  • The Company continues its engagement with the Nyamal on heritage matters with field work from the recent heritage surveys completed and the Company has confirmed that a Heritage Information Submission Form has been lodged with the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage ( DPLH ) in relation to the Two Sisters hills for the purposes of WA’s Aboriginal Heritage Act.

  • Exploration on the newly acquired tenements to the south of the Archer Deposit is also underway, with a soil sampling program recently completed and all samples submitted for assay at a Perth laboratory.

Pilbara-focused lithium explorer, Global Lithium Resources Limited ( ASX: GL1 , Global Lithium or the Company ) provides the following update to the recently commenced CY4Q Exploration Program at its Marble Bar Lithium Project ( MBLP ), located 150km southeast of Port Hedland, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

RC drilling has now been completed at the Company’s exciting Twin Veins gold prospect located on E45/4631 and samples have been delivered to a Perth laboratory for assaying. This is a follow up program from the maiden drill program where MBRC0157 intersected 12m @ 2.95g/t Au from 37m, including 3m @ 9.91 g/t Au from 40m (refer ASX announcement of 4 August 2021).

The drill rig has now moved to E45/4309 to focus on lithium targets for the remainder of the program ( Figure 1 ). A key focus will be concentrated initially on the mineralised interval intersected by MBRC0135, which is outside of the Archer mineral resource envelope which returned exceptional results includuing 28m @ 1.51% Li2O and 46ppm Ta2O5 from 69m and 9m @ 1.11% Li2O and 42ppm Ta2O5 from 108m (refer ASX announcement of 28 July 2021). Drilling is anticipated to continue until the start of December. Samples have been already started to be delivered to a Perth laboratory and subject to turnaround time, assays are anticipated to be received in Q1 2022.

The field portion of the second heritage survey has been completed with the assistance of the Nyamal Aboriginal Corporation ( NAC ), which will enable Global Lithium to explore in a broad area of the MBLP – including into the newly acquired tenement E45/4724 – whilst being mindful of its contractual, social and cultural obligations. The Company appreciates the speed and efficiency in which the NAC has assisted with these surveys and looks forward to continuing to build on this positive relationship.

As part of the ongoing heritage engagement, the Company has confirmed that a Heritage Information Submission Form has been lodged with the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage ( DPLH ) in relation to the Two Sisters hills for the purposes of WA’s Aboriginal Heritage Act.

The Archer deposit is located adjacent to the Two Sisters hills. At this stage of the process, there is no change to the Company’s stated JORC Inferred Mineral Resources and the heritage processes have no impact on the Company’s planned exploration programs in the near term.

Global Lithium recognises that the Nyamal is one of the key stakeholders to the project and the Company looks forward to continuing its ongoing relationship with the Nyamal as it continues to explore its large ~270km[2] granted tenement package around Marble Bar, with a further ~140km[2 ] of tenements under application.

Exploration on the newly acquired tenements to the south of the Archer deposit, namely E45/4724 and E45/4669, has commenced, with a broad scale soil survey program recently completed. Samples have been submitted to a Perth based lab, with results anticipated in early Q1 2022, which will be used to assist targeting in future drilling programs. The Company is excited by the opportunity to potentially extend lithium mineralisation in this southern zone.

Key representatives of Global Lithium and Resource Potentials have been on site over the past week assisting with the program and targeting ( Figure 2 ).
