GLOBAL LITHIUM APPOINTS EXPERIENCED EXPLORATION MANAGER

Key Highlights:

Pilbara-focused lithium explorer, Global Lithium Resources Limited ( ASX: GL1 , Global Lithium or the Company ) is pleased to announce it has appointed experienced lithium geologist Mr. Bryan Bourke as the Company’s Exploration Manager to lead the next phase of growth the Company’s exciting MBLP.

Bryan is a highly credentialed geologist with more than 30 years’ experience in a number of commodities and geological settings. Notably, Bryan was Exploration Manager at Altura Mining Limited ( Altura ) between 2010-2017, where he initiated exploration for lithium bearing pegmatites at Altura’s Pilgangoora Project, leading the project from a greenfields discovery through to delineation of more than 39Mt @ 1.02% Li2O in Mineral Resources[1] .

Bryan will work closely with the team at Resource Potentials Pty Ltd, who have been instrumental in the initial exploration and success of the MBLP, including leading the definition of a maiden JORC Inferred Mineral Resource of 10.5Mt @ 1.0% L2O[2] .

Incoming Exploration Manager, Bryan Bourke said : “I am delighted to join the team at Global Lithium and look forward to taking on such an exciting project. The MBLP shows indications of being similar to the Pilgangoora Deposit and has the potential to become a significant project in its own right.”

The MBLP is situated close to major road infrastructure, with direct links into Port Hedland, where bulk commodities, including spodumene concentrate, are currently being exported ( Figure 1 ). The MBLP is also located approximately 15km from the town of Marble Bar, which provides ready access to services and skills.

Global Lithium is well funded with a cash balance of $8.6 million as at 30 June 2021.
