RESIGNATION OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The board of directors (the “Board”) of Global Sweeteners Holdings Limited (the “Company” and together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) announces that Ms. Ge Yanping (“Ms. Ge”) resigned as executive director of the Company with effect from 17 December 2008 due to her intention to focus her effort on the production and quality control management of the Group and she shall remain as senior management of the Company.

Ms. Ge has confirmed that she has no disagreement with the Board and there is no matter which needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company in respect of her resignation.

The Board would like to express its gratitude to Ms. Ge for her valuable contribution to the Company during the tenure of her office.
