Total Voting Rights
On 23 December 2013 Glencore Xstrata plc ("Glencore" or the "Company") released an announcement in relation to the issue of 15,000,000 to satisfy awards vesting under the Company's Phantom Equity Scheme. On 27 December 2013, Glencore's issued voting share capital accordingly consists of 13,278,405,466 ordinary shares of US$0.01 each. Each ordinary share carries one voting right. The Company holds no shares in treasury.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Glencore is 13,278,405,466.
The above figure of 13,278,405,466 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Glencore under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
