SALE OF DAIRY IRELAND COMPLETED

3 July 2017, Glanbia plc, the global nutrition Group (“Glanbia”, the “Group” or the “plc”), and Glanbia Co-operative Society Limited (the "Co-op") wish to confirm that the sale of a 60% interest in Glanbia’s Dairy Ireland segment to the Co-op (the “Proposed Transaction”) has now completed.

Details of the Proposed Transaction were set out in a circular published on 28 April 2017 and this can be found on the Glanbia website at the following location, www.glanbia.com/egm.

Final consideration payable to Glanbia relating to the Proposed Transaction is subject to finalisation of the value of actual working capital in Dairy Ireland at the completion date, and completion accounts, which are currently being prepared, and this will be published after these have been finalised and agreed.
