Gain on divestment of Oslo Areal

Gain on divestment of Oslo Areal

Reference is made to the stock exchange release published on 3 December 2021

regarding the sale of Oslo Areal. As mentioned in the release, Gjensidige

Forsikring Group will receive proceeds of approximately NOK 6.8 billion and will

record a gain of approximately NOK 2 billion.

Due to accounting rules, Gjensidige Forsikring Group will record a value

appreciation of NOK 0.3 billion on the property assets in the investment

portfolio for the fourth quarter of 2021. The value appreciation will be

included in the Group's financial result from the investment portfolio. The

remaining NOK 1.7 billion gain on the transaction, will be included in the

Group's first quarter 2022 results, as Other items.
