Gigante Salmon AS: Changes in management

Gigante Salmon AS announces that Benny Hansen (born 1978) has been appointed new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company, effective 01 February 2026. Hansen comes from a position as Senior Manager at EY, and is educated in fisheries economics, business and accounting/auditing. He lives in Bodø and is originally from Røst.
Rune Johansen, who has served as CFO since the listing on Euronext Growth Oslo, will transition to the role of Chief Investor Relations Officer (CIRO), with responsibility for the company's investor relations function. This change forms part of strengthening its management team in pace with the company's growth.
"With Benny as CFO, we are strengthening the team with a person who has solid experience in financial management, reporting and control. Benny has the ability to make the numbers understandable – even for those of us who prefer to speak fish – and will be an important resource in our efforts to achieve the company's goals", says CEO Kjell Lorentsen.
Rune Johansen will remain part of the company's management team and will have primary responsibility for the dialogue with the investor market.
