GFT achieves ISS ESG Prime Status
Milestone in company’s sustainability strategy reached
Stuttgart, 14 June, 2023 – GFT Technologies SE achieves “ Prime ” Status for the first time in International Shareholder Services Inc. (ISS)’s sustainability rating . As part of the regular review, GFT was able to improve its rating to “C”.
“We are very committed to being the most sustainable company we can be. Sustainability is essential for our long-term competiveness both in the marketplace and with the talent – which of course is one of the key success factors in our industry,” says Jochen Ruetz, GFT CFO.
ISS scores companies on approximately 100 indicators in the fields of environment (E), social (S), and corporate governance (G) to assess the companies within an industry group. These indicators are mostly industry specific. They undergo regular review and improvement to align with the latest scientific advancements, technological progress, regulatory shifts, and societal discussions. ISS maintains the highest standards in evaluating these indicators. According to ISS, companies designated as “Prime” are industry pioneers in sustainability, displaying enhanced capabilities in managing ESG risks and capitalizing on opportunities.
