DM mehr als verdreifacht Ergebnis auf 8,6 Mio. DM mehr als verzehnfacht GFT Technologies AG, einer der führenden Interactive Integration Architects Europas, hat in den ersten sechs Monaten des laufenden Geschäftsjahres Wachstum und Profitabilität nachhaltig untermauert. Das Unternehmen erzielte im ersten Halbjahr einen Umsatz von 82,9 Mio. DM, 218 Prozent mehr als im Vergleichszeitraum des Vorjahres. Das operative Ergebnis vor Zinsen und Steuern (EBIT) konnte um 946 Prozent auf 8,6 Mio. DM gesteigert werden. Damit übertraf die Umsatzrendite im Berichtszeitraum die 10 Prozent- Marke. Das Ergebnis pro Aktie nach DVFA/SG verdreifachte sich auf 0,12 Euro. Das starke Wachstum des Unternehmens spiegelt sich auch in den Mitarbeiterzahlen wider. So waren in der GFT-Gruppe zum 30. Juni 628 Mitarbeiter festangestellt, zweieinhalb mal so viele wie zum Vorjahreszeitpunkt. Im ersten Quartal konnte die Anzahl der Mitarbeiter um 52, im zweiten Quartal um 70 neue Mitarbeiter erhöht werden. Weitere 84 Fachspezialisten hatten sich bis Anfang Juli vertraglich dazu entschieden, bis Jahresende eine Tätigkeit in der GFT-Gruppe aufzunehmen. Nachdem das Wachstum im ersten Halbjahr die Planzahlen etwas übertroffen hat, hebt der Vorstand die Umsatzerwartungen für das laufende Geschäftsjahr leicht auf etwas über 170 Mio. DM an. The companyachieved revenues of 82.9 million DM, an increase of more than 218 per cent compared to the first six months of 1999. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) increased to 8.6 million DM by 946 per cent leading to an EBIT margin of more than ten per cent for the first six months of this year. Earnings per share according to DVFA/SG tripled to 0.12 Euro. The company’s strong growth is also reflected in the number of employees. At the end of June 2000 the GFT Group had 628 permanent employees, two and a half times as many as at the same point in the previous year. In the first quarter of this year the number of employees grew by 52, in the second quarter by 70 new employees. As of 1 July, a further 84 specialists had signed contracts to join the GFT Group before the end of this year. Since the growth in the first half of the year exceeded the target figures, the Executive Board slightly increases its revenue expectations for the current financial year to more than 170 million DM.
