Technical interruption of ElecLink operations, prior to annual planned outage

Following the detection of a fault in the Great Britain - France electricity interconnector, ElecLink has decided to temporarily suspend its operations. To ensure the highest level of safety and infrastructure integrity, activity will be suspended until the annual planned outage period from 6 th to 9 th October to allow for a thorough investigation into the origin of the defect.

The resumption of activities will be confirmed at a later date.
