CONSOLIDATION OF SHARES

The Board of Geopacific Resources NL (“Geopacific” or “the Company”) is pleased to advise that the following resolution was passed at today’s Annual General Meeting:

RESOLVED “That the Company consolidate its share capital as detailed in the attached Explanatory Statement so that each 5 shares on issue at the record date of 29 April 2010 is consolidated into one share, with fractions rounded up.”

Accordingly, the consolidation will proceed in accordance with the timetable as set out below which was included in the Notice of Meeting for the AGM.
