Geopacific Resources Limited (ASX: GPR) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Geopacific Resources Limited (‘GPR’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of GPR, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 26 April 2024 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for Trading Halt

Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Geopacific Resources Limited (“ the Company ”) requests a trading halt on its securities effective immediately, pending the release of an announcement to the market regarding a proposed capital raising by the Company.

The Company anticipates that the trading halt will be lifted on or before the market opens on Friday, 26 April 2024 by the making of an announcement in relation to the results of the Institutional Entitlement Offer to the ASX.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted. The Company is not aware of any other information that is necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
