LIFTING OF ASX SUSPENSION
The Directors of Geopacific Resources NL ("the Company") advise that the Company's fully paid ordinary shares shall recommence trading on the ASX Limited (Code "GPR") as from 10:00AM EST on 24 November 2009.
The Company has completed a placement of 9,446,225 new ordinary shares to raise approximately $283,000 before costs. In addition, the Company has finalised an arrangement to underwrite a pro-rata non-renounceable entitlements issue to raise approximately $2,172,000 before costs. Details of these transactions are contained in a separate announcement.
The Directors thank Shareholders for their patience and considerable support during the last few days and look forward to providing further news about the progress of the Company’s exploration for gold and base metals in Fiji.
