Resignation and appointment of directors

The board of Kula Gold Limited (ASX: KGD) (“Kula”) advises that Geopacific Resources Limited (ASX: GPR) (“Geopacific”) representative Philippa Leggat has resigned from the board as a result of stepping down from her role with Geopacific to pursue opportunities in the resources sector. Ms. Leggat will be replaced by Mr Ron Heeks, the Managing Director of Geopacific.

Mr Heeks has been appointed as a non-executive director of Kula Gold Limited. Mr Heeks has 30 years’ mining industry experience and was a founder of Exploration and Mining Consultants and has had previous experience with WMC Newcrest, Newmont (US) and RSG Consulting. Mr Heeks has held senior roles with both mine management and exploration and is the former General Manager – Technical for Straits Asia Indonesian Operations and Chief Technical Officer for Adamus Resources Southern Ashanti Gold Operation. He has lived and worked in various countries around the world gaining extensive experience in South-East Asia and Indonesia in particular.

Kula Chairman Mark Bojanjac thanked Ms. Leggat for her valuable contribution, wishing her well with future endeavours and welcomed Mr. Heeks to the board.
