PROJECTS

The Chairman of Geopacific Resources Limited (“Geopacific or the Company”), Mr Milan Jerkovic announces the retirement of Dr Russell Fountain from the Board of Directors of the Company.

Dr Fountain is the Company’s longest serving Director who has been a Director of the Company for 10 years, is a past Chairman of the Board and also of the Audit Committee.

Mr Jerkovic stated that “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Russell for his valuable service provided over a 10 year period, as a director and former Chairman of Geopacific especially for his technical support, that was fundamental in identifying and advancing new opportunities. Russell’s vast experience in exploration geology provided the company with a high level of understanding of geological systems and he was an excellent mentor to the Board and staff.

He has been a strong supporter of the Company, its continuing investment in Fiji and lately of the investment in our Copper/Gold project at Kou Sa in Cambodia. We thank Russell for his efforts and wish him the best for all his future endeavours.”

The Board advises that it is not the intention of the Board to fill this vacancy at this time.
