Director/PDMR Shareholding

Genus plc (LSE: GNS) announces that Stephen Wilson, Chief Executive and member of the Genus Executive Leadership Team ('GELT'), sold 18,371 ordinary shares in the Company on 2 December 2020 on the London Stock Exchange at a price of 4,149.92 pence per share, as listed in Table A below.

Genus further announces that it has been notified that Catherine Wilson, a person closely associated with Stephen Wilson, sold 3,186 ordinary shares in the Company on 2 December 2020 on the London Stock Exchange at a price of 4,191.64 pence per share, as listed in Table B below.

Following the above sales, Mr Wilson holds 64,671 ordinary shares representing 0.099% of the Company.  This shareholding continues to exceed his mandatory shareholding requirement of 200% of base salary.

The below notification, made in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market Abuse Regulation, gives further detail of the number of ordinary shares sold.
