Item 8.01 Other Events.

On April 1, 2014, Gentherm Incorporated (the “Company”) announced that the Company ha s acquired all of the stock of Global Thermoelectric Inc., a privately-held company, in an all-cash transaction. A copy of the news release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 attached hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.
