Item 8.01 Other Events.

On June 1, 2011, Amerigon Incorporated (“Amerigon”) issued a press release announcing that 2,903 shares of the outstanding voting stock of W.E.T. Automotive Systems AG, a German company (“W.E.T.”), have been tendered for sale during the additional tender offer period in connection with Amerigon’s previously announced tender offer for all of the outstanding voting shares of W.E.T.

A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
