Despatch of CLY Bidder’s Statement – Take No Action

Genesis Resources Limited ( Genesis or the Company ) advises shareholders to TAKE NO ACTION following despatch of Clancy Exploration Limited’s ( Clancy or CLY ) Bidder’s Statement to shareholders.

Genesis advises shareholders to TAKE NO ACTION in relation to Clancy’s takeover offer and Bidder’s Statement until they have received and considered in full the Company’s Target’s Statement.

The Target’s Statement in response to Clancy’s takeover offer will be despatched to Genesis shareholders on or about Friday 15 June 2012, in accordance with the statutory timetable and will set out in full Genesis’ Board’s formal response to Clancy’s unsolicited and conditional takeover offer and an independent expert’s report.

Until receipt of the Target’s Statement, Genesis shareholders are advised to TAKE NO ACTION .
