New Zone of Gold Mineralisation at Plavica, Macedonia

Genesis Resources Limited (the Company or Genesis ) is pleased to announce the first results from its 2013 follow-up drilling campaign at the Plavica Prospect in the Republic of Macedonia. The results from these first 12 Reverse Circulation ( RC ) holes have delineated a new east-west trending zone on the northern flank of the prospect. This zone is still open to the east and at depth. Best results include:

PNRC003: 44m @ 2.7 g/t Au from 0m PNRC008: 54m @ 3.9 g/t Au from 25m including 17m @ 7.4 g/t Au from 38m PNRC011: 65m @ 3.1 g/t Au from 62m Including: 7m @ 9.1 g/t Au from 87m

Highlights are shown below using a 0.4 g/t Au cut-off and 1m internal dilution:

• Reverse circulation drill samples are collected every 1m.

• Assay method: Fire assay Au (30g) and ICP (Ag & Cu) through SGS Laboratory Ankara.

• Intercept widths are not necessarily true widths.

The location of the Plavica Prospect is shown in Figure 1 and the locations of the holes assayed to date in 2013 are shown in Figure 2. Table 1 provides details of the drill hole coordinates, azimuths, inclinations and depths. A drill section showing the results from holes PNRC008 and PNRC009 is shown in Figure 3. More complete details of drill hole intersections will be provided in the Company’s forthcoming Quarterly Activities Report.

The drilling at Plavica is continuing with 2 Core Rigs and 1 RC in operation.
