Update on placement of shares under capital raising mandate
As announced to the market on 16 July 2013, Genesis Resources Limited ( Genesis or the Company ) has entered into a capital raising mandate with Rich Asia Ventures Ltd ( Lead Manager ) in relation to a capital raising of approximately $1.9 million by way of share placements.
Further to the successful completion of Placement Tranche 1, under which Genesis raised $1.26M, it was intended that Placement Tranche 2 be completed by 31 August 2013 to raise $629K through the issue of approximately 7M shares in Genesis.
The Company advises that it has reached agreement with the Lead Manager to extend the completion date of Placement Tranche 2 from 31 August 2013 to 30 September 2013.
The Directors will advise shareholders upon successful completion of Placement Tranche 2.
