Issue and allotment of new shares and options under Rights Issue
Genesis Resources Limited (the Company ) advises that pursuant to its recent fully underwritten pro-rata non-renounceable rights issue ( Rights Issue ) which closed on 27 April 2012, the following securities were issued and allotted on 4 May 2012 to shareholders who sent in applications for entitlement shares under the Company’s offer information statement dated 28 March 2012 ( Offer Information Statement ):
Total entitlement acceptances by shareholders:
19,429,424 shares ( New Shares
Total free attaching options (on a 1:1 basis) 19,429,424 options exercisable at 10 cents and expiring 4 May 2014:
These figures do not include the 7,110,952 underwritten shortfall shares and 7,110,952 free attaching options ( Underwritten Securities ), to be issued to the underwriter and/or its nominees. The Company anticipates that the Underwritten Securities will be issued and allotted to the underwriter and/or its nominees next week.
In accordance with the Offer Information Statement, the Company will apply to the ASX for quotation of the New Shares in an Appendix 3B to follow shortly.
