Appointment of Director

Genesis Resources Limited ( Genesis or the Company ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr James Patterson to the Board of Genesis effective today, 24 October 2016.

Mr Patterson has been working as the Company’s Exploration Manager since April 2013 and will continue to do so following his appointment as Director.

Mr Patterson is a geologist with over 20 years’ exploration experience, primarily in gold and coppergold systems. He has worked with several successful Exploration Companies such as Delta Gold, Newmont, Oxiana and MMG. He has worked in Australia, Asia, the Pacific Islands and Eastern Europe. His last role was as Country Exploration Manager with Rio Tinto in Laos. He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG).

Genesis welcomes Mr Patterson to the Board, and looks forward to his continued contribution to the Company. An Appendix 3X (Initial Director’s Interest Notices) for Mr Patterson will follow shortly.
