Appointment of Non-Executive Director
Genesis Resources Limited ( Genesis or the Company ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Kim Heng Lim as Non-Executive Director of the Board, effective today.
Mr Lim received his MBA degree in 2003 and has over 30 years’ experience in the retail industry. Mr Lim is the founder and managing director of a large retail outlet chain in Malaysia, which was established in 1989, and now has more than 130 stores retailing electronics. During his leadership of this company, Mr Lim has won several awards, including Franchise of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, and Best Employer of Choice.
Mr Lim is associated with the Company’s largest shareholder, S Active Holding Sdn Bhd, which holds 22,117,930 ordinary shares in the Company.
The Directors welcome Mr Lim to the Board of Genesis and look forward to his contribution to the Company. An Appendix 3X (Initial Director’s Interest Notice) for Mr Lim will follow shortly.
