Genesis Resources Limited is an Australian company with a portfolio (over 1,877 km[2] ) of quality iron, manganese, gold, uranium and base metal (copper-zinc-silver) in the highly prospective Archaean and Proterozoic metallogenic provinces of Australia. Genesis has also signed a Joint Venture over an advanced coppergold (Plavica) project within the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (also known as FYROM). The Plavica Project is highly prospective for gold, copper and silver mineralisation.

BOARD CHANGES

Genesis Resources Ltd (“ Genesis ” or the “ Company ”) (ASX:GES), wishes to advise that Mr Pedro Kastellorizos has resigned as Managing Director to explore other business opportunities.

Chairman, Mr Eddie Pang commented:

“Pedro has been an invaluable member of the board and, as Managing Director, ensured the listing of Genesis; spearheading funding initiatives and the development of the Company’s tenement assets and significantly its maiden gold inferred JORC Resource over the Plavica Project in Macedonia.”

“We thank Pedro for his support and expertise over the past 4 and half years and in particular for his efforts in listing of the company on the ASX.”

Genesis is an exploration company committed to the creation of shareholder value through successful mineral exploration and development.

“As Genesis moves towards implementation of its exploration program for 2011 we will now restructure the company to drive further exploration and development of our tenement assets and corporate evolution.”

Mr Kastellorizos said he was pleased to see the Company now prepare for its 2011 exploration program, and continue with the implementation of a promising tenement development plan.

Mr Kastellorizos, whose resignation is to be effective on or about 18 August 2010, is a significant shareholder in the Company and by virtue of his escrow obligations which expire on the 27[th] October 2011 will continue to hold his shares in Genesis.

Dr Allan Parker appointed Non Executive Director

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Allan Parker as a Non Executive Director.

Mr Eddie Yiu Pang Non-Executive Chairman

Dr Parker is a geologist and geophysicist and holds a strong combination of commercial, strategic, legal and senior executive management capabilities and extensive knowledge of uranium, base metal, gold and iron ore mineral deposits and mineralization systems. He is a former Chief Geologist with the SA Geological Survey and brings to the Company a wealth of expertise and operational experience specific to Genesis.

Mr Pang, said Dr Parker’s appointment will add significant strength to the Board, particularly in regards to his geological and commercial background and his understanding of the mining/exploration industry to meet the future development of Genesis.
