Genesis Resources 2015 Highlights - Macedonia
-
30 Year Exploitation Licence granted to JV Company Silgen Resources Ltd which in turn is owned 62 % by Genesis.
-
High grade mineralisation encountered for the first time at Maricanski Rid: 24m @ 6.39 g/t Au from 0m in MRDD006, hosted in vuggy silica.
-
Follow up drilling to the West of this zone has intersected thick zones of vuggy silica. Results are pending.
-
High grade copper intersected at the eastern end of Plavica (12m @ 5.97 % Cu, 0.42 g/t Au, 390 g/t Ag from 100m in PNDD046
-
Some areas to the south of Plavica, drilled by the State (eg ZB047: 240m @ 0.58 g/t Au from 30m & ZB056: 310m @ 0.72 g/t Au from 20m) have yet to be redrilled.
-
Geochemical anomaly with up to 9 g/t Au in rock chip samples yet to be drilled
-
Re-measuring of drill core density using industry best-practice wax method will increase tonnages by approximately 10%
-
Drill rig currently finishing last holes at Maricanski Rid to complete JORC Compliant Inferred Resource over this area and at Plavica.
-
Geology Interpretation updated and numerous other previously unmapped old workings discovered. Some of these old workings have not been drill tested.

Re-measuring density of drill core using industry best practice Wax Method: Shows a bias of +7.5% to the wax method adding to the Resource base. Samples with density <2.0 show even stronger bias towards the wax method with +11.5% bias. These are mostly oxide and/or vuggy silica samples (ore).
