Genesis Minerals Limited (ASX: GMD) – Trading Halt
Description
The securities of Genesis Minerals Limited (‘GMD’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of GMD, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Thursday, 22 April 2021 or when the announcement is released to the market.

REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT
Genesis Minerals Limited (“Company”) (ASX: GMD) requests a trading halt in its securities in accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1 effective immediately pending an announcement by the Company in relation to a proposed capital raising.
The Company requests that the trading halt remain until the earlier of the Company making an announcement in regards to the matter above or the commencement of trading on Thursday 22 April 2021.
The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
