Genesis Announces Departure of Chief Operations Officer and Chief Digital Officer
Genesis Energy today announces that Chief Operations Officer, Nigel Clark, and Chief Digital Officer, James Magill, are leaving Genesis to move back to Australia.
Marc England, CEO of Genesis said: “I would like to thank Nigel and James for the significant contribution they have made to our business over the last five years”. Both have had an immense impact at Genesis, initially running two halves of the Retail Business together, before moving into the Power Generation and Technology & Digital roles they are currently in."
“Nigel is keen to be closer to family in Australia after a couple of years of difficult travel conditions brought on by Covid. Nigel has agreed to see through an extended transition to a replacement until the end of this financial year on 30 June 2022.”
“James has accepted a leadership opportunity focused on the energy transition based in Australia and so will be leaving Genesis in February 2022.”
An internal and external search is underway.
