On November 7, 2013, the board of directors of Genesco Inc. elected Joanna Barsh as a director of the Company and the Company issued a press release announcing the election. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K. As of the date of this Report, Ms. Barsh has not been named to committees of the board of directors.
