Generix Group acquires GMI Connectivity
Paris, 30 April 2015 - Generix Group, Industrial, Logistical and Retail Ecosystems provider with leading Collaborative Software Solutions, issued its acquisition of EDI solution provider, GMI Connectivity. Generix Group is thus consolidating its leadership position on the corporate data interchange digitalisation market. The incorporation of GMI Connectivity will reinforce Generix Group's position on such regulated flow markets as banking, taxation and customs as well as on the unstructured document digitalisation market.
GMI CONNECTIVITY, CLOSE TO 25 YEARS OF RENOWNED EXPERTISE
Founded in 1992, GMI Connectivity is a software vendor on the market for dematerialisation of data exchanged between businesses and achieves close to one million euros in revenue. The company has a catalogue of offerings in a variety of fields such as EDI, bank-business and business-customs exchanges, e-invoicing, file transfer, virtual printers, fax and text message management and automatic character recognition.
The company has 500 customers ranging from SMBs to large corporations, including: Andros, Brioche Pasquier, Gitem, Lustucru, Mobalpa, Point.P, Sucre Union, William Saurin, etc.
Generix Group acquired 100% of GMI Connectivity's stock. GMI Connectivity will be gradually incorporated into the Generix Group as a subsidiary.
The current CEO of GMI Connectivity, Christian Guilbert, said he was confident that this alliance would be successful saying GMI Connectivity was committed to supporting its customers during the transition. He declared he would be staying at the company and went on to say "We wanted to ensure that the company we had built up over the last 25 years and the solutions we sell to our customers would be protected over the long term. We are delighted to join the market leader as this gives us the opportunity to offer our customers and employees new development prospects".
AN ACQUISITION THAT OPENS THE WAY TO SUBSTANTIAL SYNERGIES BETWEEN THE OFFERINGS FROM GMI CONNECTIVITY AND GENERIX GROUP
The Generix Group offers its 5,000 customers a SaaS platform covering all aspects of corporate data interchange digitalisation.
The synergies with GMI Connectivity's offerings are substantial and will help reduce time-to-market for new services. With this in mind, Generix Group Chairman Jean-Charles Deconninck said "By integrating solutions for unstructured document digitalisation and management of regulated flows in the banking, taxation and customs fields we can help our customers increase the benefits they get from building a digital company."
