Gen İlaç ve Sağlık ve Sağlık Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (GEN) ile Amerika Birleşik Devletleri merkezli IntraBio Inc. firması arasında münhasır distribütörlük sözleşmesi imzalanarak yürürlüğe girmiştir.

Bu sözleşmeye göre, GEN levacetylleucine etkin maddeli Aqneursa adlı ilacın Türkiye'de münhasır distribütörü olmuştur.

Söz konusu ilaç; ilerleyici, geri dönüşümü olmayan, sinir sistemi ve diğer bazı organları etkileyen genetik bir lizozomal depo hastalığı olan Niemann-Pick Tip C (NPC) hastalığının tedavisinde kullanılmaktadır.

Sözleşmenin yürürlüğe girmesi ile GEN tarafından söz konusu ilacın T.C. Sağlık Bakanlığı'nca yurt dışı ilaç listesine eklenebilmesi için gerekli süreçler takip edilecek ve süreç tamamlandıktan sonra ülkemizde Hasta Adına İlaç Temin Programı (Named Patient Program – NPP) kapsamında tedariği ve satışı gerçekleştirilecektir. Sözleşme ilacın ülkemizdeki ilk satışından itibaren 5 yıl süre ile geçerli olacaktır.

Süreç ile ilgili gelişmeler ortaya çıktıkça kamuoyu bilgilendirilmeye devam edilecektir.

İşbu açıklamamızın İngilizce çevirisi ekte yer almakta olup, metinler arasında herhangi bir farklılık olması durumunda, Türkçe açıklama metni esas kabul edilecektir.

-Unofficial Translation-

The exclusive distrivution agreement between Gen İlaç ve Sağlık ve Sağlık Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (GEN) and IntraBio Inc. based in the United States of America was signed and entered into force.

According to this agreement, GEN became exclusive distributor of the drug which levacetylleucine active substanced and Agneursa named in Türkiye.

The subjected drug; used in the treatment of Niemann-Pick Type C (NPC) disease, which is a progressive, irreversible genetic lysosomal storage disease that affects the nervous system and some other organs.

After the agreement entered into force necessary process will be followed for addition of the drug to the Abroad Drug List by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health and after the completion of the process supply and sales of the drug within the Named Patient Program (NPP) will be made. This agreement will be effective for 5 years after the first sale of the drug in our country.

Necessary disclosures will made as developments regarding the process emerge.
