Update on Virtual Annual General Meeting of the Company
LONDON, 30 APRIL 2021
Further to the Company's announcement on 8 April 2021, shareholders are advised that the Notice of Virtual Annual General Meeting ("VAGM") and the Company's Annual Results have been posted to shareholders today, 30 April 2021.
The Notice of VAGM, which includes an explanatory memorandum on the resolutions to be tabled at the VAGM, is available on the Gemfields website at www.gemfieldsgroup.com. Those shareholders registered on the Company's shareholder register at 11.00 a.m. (British Summer Time) on Friday, 18 June 2021, will be eligible to participate in and vote at the VAGM and accordingly the last day to trade to be eligible to participate in and vote at the VAGM is Monday, 14 June 2021.
The Company's VAGM is scheduled to be held on Thursday, 24 June 2021, at 10:00 a.m. (British Summer Time).
The Company will provide a further update to shareholders on 'How to Participate in the VAGM' in due course.
