Ennio Franceschetti

Current Honorary Chairman of the Gefran S.p.A. Board of Directors.

Born in Provaglio d'Iseo on 5 September 1942, he holds an Industrial Technician diploma from Istituto Tecnico Castelli in Brescia, and is the founder of Gefran S.p.A., where he was Chief Executive Officer until 2004 and Chairman until 2018.

Maria Chiara Franceschetti

Current Chairman of Gefran S.p.A.

Born in Iseo on 22 June 1969, she graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Brescia University and started her career as a director of 3S S.r.l. in Varese. She later joined the Gefran Group as Company Information Systems Manager, and subsequently became Group HR Director. She was Group CEO between 2014 and 2017. She is an independent director of A2A S.p.A..

Andrea Franceschetti

Current Vice Chairman of Gefran S.p.A.

Born in Brescia on 28 May 1977. He obtained a Master's Degree in Economics and Management of Small and Medium Enterprises in 2006/2007 and a Master's Degree in Business Economics promoted by Il Sole 24 Ore in 2009.

In 2001-2002, he was responsible for updating the Go-Fluid site for Hydraulics/Pneumatics/Lubrification of the company Vortal srl.

Began working for Gefran SpA in 2002, holding a number of positions in production and quality, becoming International Sales Manager in February 2013 and then Drives Business Unit Sales Manager until 2017; currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of the subsidiary Gefran Soluzioni Srl. Also holds the position of Director in the innovative start-up Matchplat S.r.l..

Giovanna Franceschetti

Current Vice Chairman of Gefran S.p.A.

Born in Iseo on 03 February 1976.

She holds a degree in Public Relations from the IULM University in Milan. After obtaining a Master's Degree in Business Administration from L. Bocconi Business School, she started working as a Product Manager for consumer goods multinational Unilever.

She was Head of Communications and Image for Gefran and Group Investor Relator from 2004 to 2018.

Member of the Board of Directors of Fingefran S.r.l., Gefran S.p.A.'s parent company, and member of the Board of Directors of Ensun S.r.l. and Elettropiemme S.r.l..

Marcello Perini

Born in Brescia on 26 March 1969. Graduated from Brescia University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and joined Gefran in 1995, working on the design of Industrial Sensors. Held posts of growing responsibility in the Technical Direction of the Sensors Division before becoming Manager of the Sensors Division plant in Provaglio. He has held the post of General Manager of the Group's Sensors and Components Business Unit since 2016.

Cristina Mollis

Born in Bergamo on 4 September 1974, she is an entrepreneur and strategist in the digital world. After been graduated from LIUC University of Castellanza she attended a Master from SDA Bocconi.

After an experience as consultant in Valdani Vicari & Associati, has been appointed as Vice President of Value Partner Group. In 2008 founded NuvO' that she managed until 2015 when NuvO' has been merged in H-Farm. After the integration, Cristina Mollis became Head of Industry of H-Farm. In 2019 was CEO of Coin S.p.A.

Giorgio Metta

Born in Cagliari on 14 January 1970. He is the Scientific Director of the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT). Graduate in electronic engineer from University of Genova with honors, he obtained a PhD in the same University. He carried out research activity at the University of Leeds (UK), MIT (U.S.A.) and then started his academic activity at the University of Genoa from 2005, with specific focus on robotics. He is the author of several scientific publications and carries out consultancy activities for the Ministry of Economic Development in the field of artificial intelligence.

Gli impianti hanno sede in provincia di Brescia e vengono fornite soluzioni innovative e personalizzate adatte a applicazioni e tecnologie quali iniezione, estrusione, filmatura e soffiaggio.
	Si tratta di un progetto di impresa nato dalla collaborazione con il socio e nipote, Francesco Franceschetti, che ha visto negli ultimi anni una significativa crescita garantendo stabilità ai collaboratori (34 ad oggi i dipendenti) e raggiungendo i 18 Mil€ di fatturato.

	Prima attività concreta dell'Associazione è stata la progettazione e realizzazione di un Centro Formativo Polifunzionale in Congo a Kikwit, diocesi con 4 milioni di abitanti a circa 500 Km a est della capitale Kinshasa, in stretta collaborazione con la Congregazione delle Suore Francescane Angeline.
	Con grande orgoglio possiamo dire che la costruzione del primo lotto con la scuola materna, la casa operatori ed i laboratori multifunzionali è ormai conclusa.

Risultati conseguiti	Crescita del Business: da inizio del 2016 fino ad oggi il fatturato complessivo della Business Unit è cresciuto del 24%. Il piano di crescita è stato basato sia sull'acquisizione di grossi OEM (tipicamente leader di mercato) che di End User operanti non solo nei mercati tradizionali per Gefran (Plastica) ma anche in alcuni segmenti di mercato opportunamente identificati. Cambio organizzativo nella BU: unione di due organizzazioni esistenti con l'obiettivo di crearne una sola più efficiente ed efficace. Durante il processo di unificazione molti processi aziendali sono stati rivisti in ottica lean, in particolare quelli relativi a: sviluppo prodotto, marketing di prodotto, gestione degli ordini e delle urgenze, gestione dei resi). La selezione e l'applicazione dei processi migliori e la motivazione delle risorse chiave per il coordinamento dei processi stessi sono stati elementi fondamentali per il successo del cambiamento organizzativo. Organizzazione Commerciale: introduzione di un nuovo modello di organizzazione commerciale che prevede accanto alla copertura del territorio l'individuazione di figure dedicate allo sviluppo del business attraverso l'apertura di nuovi clienti e nuovi settori applicativi per i prodotti. Introduzione di una politica di incentivi coerente con il nuovo modello di organizzazione in grado di premiare le azioni di sviluppo commerciale sulla base delle nuove opportunità e dei nuovi clienti creati.

La Business Unit Sensori sviluppa, progetta e produce sensori per applicazioni industriali. La leadership tecnologica basata sul KH specifico di prodotto e l'elevato grado di integrazione verticale dei processi produttivi sono gli elementi competitivi distintivi alla base del successo di questo business.

Ruolo Direzione, gestione e coordinamento delle funzioni della Business Unit relative a: Marketing di prodotto, Ricerca e Sviluppo, Produzione e Qualità Responsabile del P&L del Business a livello globale e della definizione/ implementazione del piano strategico per lo sviluppo della Business Unit. Risultati conseguiti Crescita del business: dal 2005 ad oggi il fatturato generato dal business dei Sensori è cresciuto di 2,5 volte. Il piano di crescita ha fatto leva sull'acquisizione dei principali OEM nel mercato della plastica grazie

all'eccellenza tecnica e tecnologica dei prodotti della BU. Sviluppo Prodotto: il range dei prodotti è stato re-ingegnerizzato e le tecnologie di base sono state significativamente migliorate sia in termini di prestazioni che di semplicità produttiva. Sono state introdotte nuove gamme di prodotto destinate a segmenti di mercato differenti rispetto a quelli tradizionali per Gefran. L'innovazione di prodotto ha fatto leva sulla collaborazione con Università italiane ed estere. Dal 2005 ad oggi sono stati depositate 15 domande di brevetto.

Eccellenza operativa: dal 2005 ad oggi i volumi di produzione (intesi come numero di pezzi prodotti in un anno) sono più che raddoppiati con un minore contributo di manodopera grazie al piano di conversione dei processi produttivi da manuali in automatici.

Avvio di produzioni remote: per poter acquisire quote di mercato significative in Paesi geograficamente lontani dalla casa madre (US e Cina) sono stati aggiornati e potenziati i processi produttivi in Gefran Inc (US) e sono state avviate linee di assemblaggio prodotto nella consociata cinese del gruppo.

Nov 2014 - Ott 2015 General Manager Business Unit Motion di Gefran SpA

La Business Unit Motion (oggi chiamata Gefran Drive and Motion) sviluppa, progetta e produce inverter per motori in AC e DC. I prodotti trovano applicazione sia in applicazioni industriali che in applicazioni civili.

Ruolo Il ruolo di General Manager nel periodo indicato è stato assunto in contemporanea all'attività di direzione della Business Unit Sensori.

Riportando direttamente all'Amministratore Delegato del Gruppo l'obiettivo dell'attività è stato quello di creare le basi per un rilancio ed una crescita futura del business.

Il piano è stato basato sulla riorganizzazione delle attività logistico/produttive in ottica di una maggiore efficienza dei processi e sullo sviluppo di alcuni prodotti ritenuti chiave per consolidare la posizione e acquisire quote di mercato in settori di mercato tradizionali : plastica e lift.

Risultati conseguiti Miglioramento delle operation: la capacità produttiva dello stabilimento è stata incrementata rispetto agli anni precedenti grazie all'introduzione di nuovi flussi produttivi (nuovi layout) e all'introduzione di una diversa organizzazione logistico produttiva basata sull'individuazione di nuovi ruoli e funzioni operative.

Sviluppo prodotto: sono stati sviluppati due nuovi prodotti. Uno per il settore delle macchine di stampaggio plastica ad iniezione con un focus specifico sugli OEM cinesi ed uno per il settore degli ascensori.

Localizzazione della produzione in Cina: i due prodotti sviluppati sono stati localizzati a livello produttivo nella consociata cinese a Shanghai.

Luglio 2013 ad oggi	Membro del consiglio di Amministrazione di Sensormate AG
	Sensormate AG è un'azienda specializzata nella progettazione e produzione di sensori (celle di carico e sensori di sforzo) per le macchine di stampaggio plastica ad iniezione. L'azienda è stata acquisita da Gefran a nel Luglio 2013. L'integrazione di questi prodotti nel portafoglio di Gefran ha rafforzato la posizione del business dei Sensori nel settore della macchine per la trasformazione della plastica.
Ruolo	Membro del consiglio di Amministrazione della società con il compito di definire, insieme al General Manager della società la strategia di sviluppo del business sia in termini di mercato che di prodotto.
Risultati conseguiti	M&A: definizione del razionale dell'acquisizione di Sensormate da parte di Gefran a partire dalla identificazione del target nell'ambito della strategia di crescita del business dei Sensori. Coordinamento delle fasi di integrazione della neo acquisita società all'interno del gruppo Gefran. Crescita del Business: dalla data dell'acquisizione ad oggi il fatturato generato dal gruppo grazie ai prodotti Sensormate è cresciuto del 125% ed oggi conta per il 5% del fatturato complessivo del business dei sensori.

Ruolo	Riportando direttamente al Direttore della Business Unit ho diretto e coordinato tutte la attività di sviluppo nuovo prodotto fino al completo trasferimento in produzione. L'ufficio R&D è stato riorganizzato sulla base di centri di competenza tecnologica ed è stato introdotto un nuovo processo di sviluppo prodotto (Product Life Cycle PLCY) che ha portato ad una riduzione dei tempi di sviluppo dei prodotti e allo sviluppo di sensori con caratteristiche di affidabilità superiori. Dal 2001 al 2005 sono state depositate dal team R&D 5 domande di brevetto relative a sensori con contenuti tecnici/tecnologici innovativi.

After completing her university studies in 1997, Cristina Mollis started her professional career at Valdani Vicari & Associati, a small consulting firm, mainly focused on marketing planning, market researches and sales effectiveness projects.

One year later in 2000, she joined Value Partners at the time when VP Web and VP Tech were going to be founded and few years later incorporated in Value Team (eventually sold to NTT Data in 2011). In Value Partners, Cristina Mollis rapidly grew to a Vice President role, becoming head of the Telco Unit for marketing, sales, and customer operations. In 2007 she became responsible of E-TREE , the Group's Internet Company.

During her 8 years at Value Partners, Cristina Mollis led several projects on the verge between marketing, sales and customer operations especially in Telco but also in FMCG and Retail industries. Main projects would encompass:

Cristina Mollis has been a consultant throughout her entire career (roughly 16 years), and a successful one both as an esteemed member of a well-known, strategic management consulting firm (Value Partners) where she grew to leadership positions during her 8 years, and subsequently as an entrepreneur in the consulting arena where she was able to grow her company to 9 M€ /year exclusively focusing on digital projects.

2017 The latest count of media appearances of my robots reaches 1250 in the past two years.
2009 About the iCub on Nature (N. Nosengo, "Robotics: The bot that plays ball" Nature Vol 460, 1076-1078 (2009) doi: 10.1038/4601076a).
The iCub appeared in hundreds of news articles and magazines including "Le Monde", "La Repubblica", "Corriere della Sera", "National Geographic" (cover), "Asahi Shimbun" (cover), "Science News" (cover), "Il Sole 24 ore", in books on AI, in a movie ("Plug & Pray"), Scientific American (cover), etc.

GENERAL PURLIC APPEARANCES

iCub demos were shown at robotics fairs, exhibits, conferences and during laboratory visits at IIT hundreds of times, always live on one or more robots. These included visits by the Italian President of the Republic (Mr. Napolitano, Mr. Mattarella), Italian Prime Minister (Mr. Letta, Mr. Renzi), German Chancellor (Ms. Angela Merkel), the Spanish King Felipe IV, EU Commissioners and countless ministers and parliament members.

I give about 40-50 public speeches per year. I regularly participate to forums, panels and other business initiatives (e.g. for TEH Ambrosetti, Italian Think Tank on digitalization and new technologies in relation to economy), to media-related events, exhibitions and fairs, science festivals, EU Commission panels and conferences, TEDx talks, government panels/forums.
