GEFRAN SPA CONCLUDE LA VENDITA DEL BUSINESS AZIONAMENTI DI GEFRAN SIEI DRIVES TECHNOLOGY (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD. AL GRUPPO BRASILIANO WEG

Provaglio d'Iseo (BS), 31 Dicembre 2022 – Gefran S.p.A. aggiorna il mercato in relazione allo stato di avanzamento della vendita del Business Azionamenti al Gruppo Brasiliano WEG, facendo seguito ai comunicati stampa pubblicati in data 3 e 4 ottobre in relazione alla cessione delle quote di partecipazione della società italiana Gefran Drives and Motion S.r.l. e della società tedesca Siei Areg GmbH a WEG S.A.

In data odierna Gefran Siei Drives Technology (Shanghai) co., ltd, controllata cinese del Gruppo Gefran, ha sottoscritto con WEG (Changzhou) Automation Equipment Co., Ltd, controllata cinese del Gruppo WEG, un accordo per la cessione del relativo ramo d'azienda per un valore di 2,98 milioni di Euro su un totale complessivo dell'accordo per la cessione del Business Azionamenti pari a 23 milioni di Euro. La data di efficacia dell'accordo è il 3 gennaio 2023.

Gefran aggiornerà il mercato sul prosieguo dell'operazione, secondo le disposizioni regolamentari.

GEFRAN SPA COMPLETES THE SALE OF THE MOTION BUSINESS UNIT OF GEFRAN SIEI DRIVES TECHNOLOGY (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD. TO THE BRAZILIAN GROUP WEG

Provaglio d'Iseo (BS), 31 December 2022 – Gefran S.p.A. updates the market about the status of the sale of the Drives and Motion Business unit to the Brazilian Group WEG, following press releases issued on October 3rd and 4th related to the sale of the shares in the Italian company Gefran Drives and Motion S.r.l. and of the German company Siei Areg Gmbh to WEG S.A.

Today Gefran Siei Drives Technology (Shanghai) co., ltd., the Chinese subsidiary of Gefran Group, entered into an agreement with WEG (Changzhou) Automation Equipment Co., Ltd, Chinese subsidiary of WEG group, for the sale of the relevant Chinese business unit for a value of 2.98 million Euros out of an overall of the agreement for the sale of the Drives Business equal to 23 million Euros. The effective date of such agreement is January 3 rd, 2023.

Gefran will update the market on the continuation of the transaction, in accordance with the regulatory provisions.
