GEA supplies Air Cooled Condenser worth EUR 10m to Israel

Bochum/Haifa, December 16, 2009 - The German based GEA Group received the
order to design, manufacture and supply the Air Cooled Condenser for the
extension of the 250 MW Gas fired power plant Tzafit in Israel. The
extension will increase the capacity of the power plant to 370 MW by adding
a steam turbine to the process. This will at the same time increase the
efficiency of the power plant.

'This new order from Israel continues the successful co-operation of GEA
with power plant operators in the country that started almost 30 years ago
and has led to a substantial share of plants that use GEA components', says
Jörg Jeliniewski, Division President of GEA Thermal Engineering, which is
part of GEA's Energy and Farm Technology Segment.
