GEA sells the segment Heat Exchangers

Düsseldorf, April 16, 2014 - GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft sells its segment
Heat Exchangers to funds advised by Triton. The sale and purchase agreement
was signed today. The disinvestment is based on an Enterprise Value of
approximately EUR 1.3 billion. The transaction is subject to approval of
the relevant antitrust authorities.
