September 2000 IntraWare AG schafft wichtigen Schritt in US-Markt Auftrag für die amerikanischen Streitkräfte Die IntraWare AG, Petersberg, hat den wichtigen Einstieg in den US-amerikanischen Markt geschafft und will auf dieser Grundlage weiter expandieren. Im Rahmen von mehreren Projekten wird der Software-Spezialist sein Standardprodukt “Bonapart” künftig bei US Army, Navy und Airforce zum Einsatz bringen. Noch in diesem Jahr will das am Neuen Markt notierte Unternehmen mit einer eigenen Niederlassung in den USA präsent sein und sein Geschäft dort früher als geplant ausbauen. Die Produkte der IntraWare sind bereits heute in weltweit operierenden Konzernen im Einsatz. “Bonapart” ist eine leistungsfähige sowie umfassende Software zur Prozessmodellierung und Prozessbeschreibung, mit der Abläufe in Unternehmen und Organisationen modelliert, simuliert und optimiert werden können. Dieses Know-how wird künftig bei IT-Projekten der US Streitkräfte zum Einsatz kommen. Abgewickelt wird das Geschäft gemeinsam mit dem amerikanischen IT-Consultingunternehmen Mitre, welches das IntraWare-Produkt “Bonapart” wegen seiner Leistungsfähigkeit auswählte und es auch für ein eigenes internes Großprojekt einsetzt. Mitre geht auf eine Gründung der US-Regierung in Kooperation mit der Hightech- Universität MIT zurück und ist aktuell mit rund 4.000 Mitarbeitern für verschiedene amerikanische Bundesministerien und -behörden tätig. Gemeinsam planen beide Unternehmen noch in diesem Jahr eine Vielzahl weiterer Platzierungen der IntraWare-Produkte im Umfeld der Mitre Kunden. Die Gesellschaft erwartet für den Bereich “Prozess- modellierungsmanagement” bis zum Ende des nächsten Jahres im US-Amerikanischen Markt einem Umsatz von 3-5 Millionen DM. The software specialist will implement its “Bonapart” standard product at the US Army, Navy and Airforce within the framework of several projects. The company is quoted on the New Market exchange and will establish itself in the USA with a subsidiary still this year extending its business there earlier than planned. The products of IntraWare are already being used in groups operating world-wide. “Bonapart” is a high-performance as well as comprehensive software for process modelling and process description enabling companies and organisations to model, simulate and optimise their processes. This know-how will be used in IT projects of the US forces in future. The business will be processed together with the american IT consultation company, Mitre, which chose the “Bonapart” IntraWare product because of its capabilities. Therefore the consultancy also use the software for an internal major project of its own. Mitre dates back to a foundation by the US Government in co-operation with the MIT high-tech university and presently works with a staff of about 4,000 for different American Federal Ministries and Offices. Both companies are planning to introduce jointly numerous IntraWare products in the environment of Mitre’s customers.
