In the future, GlobalWare AG, provider of CRM and Human Language Technology solutions, will work closely with the US software company Applications Technology Inc. (AppTek). The goal of the cooperation is the joint marketing of products and services for information technology. AppTek, located in McLean, Virginia, develops and sells translation technologies and speech recognition modules based on transfer systems. Since 2002, AppTek has been represented in the German market through branches located in Munich and Berlin. In Europe and in the USA, AppTek is active mainly in the public sector. GlobalWare AG as yet is concentrated mainly on industry and mid-size companies in Europe. Both companies view the combined marketing as a promising way to open new market segments. The projected size of the contract is appoximately five hundred thousands Euros per year. As the result of this cooperation both companies will expand their product range with respect to multiple languages and flexibility. The software solutions of both companies are modular and easy to integrate into the IT infrastructure of the respective customer. Combined solutions for multilingual acquisition of information should be placed in the US and European Market already in the first half of the current year.
