The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– IntraWare AG parts with loss-making Mavos AG Petersberg, 18th July 2001 – Within the course of the alignment to Customer Relationship Management, Total Quality Management and Process and Workflow Management as WEB-compatible solutions, IntraWare AG sells its stake in Mavos AG to the old shareholders retroactively as at 1st January 2001. The contribution of Mavos AG to the overall result and alignment of the group as compared with the required investments into innovations and technologies was not considered to be positive. Focussing on applications for call centres and the bank environment in Notes R4 infrastructures Mavos AG was not in a position to offer the performance profile required by the market alignment of the IntraWare group. Particularly the stagnating market for call centre solutions offers little perspective for manufacturers of products which are not WEB-based like those of Mavos AG. In addition, IntraWare AG serves customers from the traditional markets of Mavos AG with its own WEB-based solutions which were presented at CeBIT. With this sale IntraWare AG pursues persistently its orientation to profits which is supposed to achieve the break even point in the fourth quarter of 2002.
