The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– GlobalWare AG – positive outlook for fiscal year 2003 Eisenach, April 28, 2003 – GlobalWare AG, provider of technologies for all aspects of mono- and multilingual information, particularly for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Human Language Technology (HLT), expects a clear growth in sales and a positive corporate development for the current fiscal year 2003. Following the conclusion of the integration of both companies in the first quarter of 2003, the second quarter of the current fiscal year is expected to follow a course typical of the software business. In the CRM business area for this period, the company is assuming CRM sales to be at a level of the previous year. GlobalWare AG therefore expects a significant improvement in the results in comparison with the figures from the previous year. The second half of the business year, based on current orders and orders in progress, one can again assume an increasing rate of growth and an overall clear improvement of the results in comparison to the previous year. For the total year of 2003, the company expects an increase in sales in comparison to the previous year of approximately 40% initiated in the area of Human Language Technology. With a sales contribution of over 35%, the business area of HLT will have a significant share of the total expected sales of approximately 6 million Euros. Still in the current fiscal year, GlobalWare plans to introduce new products and product integrations to the market for CRM and, in particular, HLT. GlobalWare AG also assumes continued growth in sales for fiscal year 2004 and a continuation of the positive development of results.
