The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– IntraWare AG – Focus on sales performance and result orientation in the business year 2002 Petersberg, 15 March 2002 – IntraWare AG, provider of software solutions for Customer Relationship Management as well as Business Process Management and quoted on the New Market, plans break-even by the third quarter of 2002. Based on a reduced consolidated turnover due to structural changes – particularly the sale of deficit-ridden subsidiaries – amounting to approx. Euro 8.5 million, IntraWare AG meets expected sales of Euro 9.9 million in 2002 for the AG. The company was able to improve the result for the business year 2001 as compared with the previous year by approx. 32 percent to minus 8,983 TEUR, despite special effects bearing on restructuring measures amounting to Euro 2.5 million. In the course of today’s annual presentation of the financial statements, IntraWare AG will also present material factors intended to aid in result improvement. Material factors in this context, apart from cost reduction – particularly in the field of personnel expenses as a result of the measures already taken here – and the omission of special effects, are the extension of the Asian business as well as the sales performance in the domestic markets. Already at this point, IntraWare AG has started to focus on strengthening the sales organisation and has thus initiated measures to increase the share of sales staff within the AG from 43% to 60%. With CRMSuite and CRMPartnerportal based on IBM WebSphere Portal Servers, the IntraWare solution portfolio offers a firm foundation for the achievement of these goals.
