GROUP Technologies AG has surpassed the performance expectations for the year 2000 which were laid out when the company went public in November 2000. According to company estimates, provisional turnover amount to over 12 million DM compared with the 11.6 million which had been forecast. The provisional EBIT, without taking into account the costs of going public (operating result) will exceed the initial targeted goal of 0.17 million DM by more t han threefold. In comparison with the previous year, the year 2000 was marked by the clear increase in income from licence agreements which have doubled with respect to the previous year. The extremely strong 3rd and 4th quarters confirm the successful conversion of GROUP Technologies AG from a project company into a product company. The first weeks of the current fiscal year proved the continuing success of the e-security products.
