Ad hoc-Mitteilung übermittelt durch die DGAP Für den Inhalt der Mitteilung ist der Emittent verantwortlich. ——————————————————————————– Karlsruhe, March 15, 2001 GROUP Technologies AG, Karlsruhe, has closed the fiscal year 2000 with excellent results in terms of profits and turnover and consequently exceeded the original targeted results. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) were over 360% higher than the original budgeted values at TDM 624 (Budgeted amount: TDM 173). For the fiscal year 2000, the Company recorded a balanced turnover as per IAS of DM 12.12 million (cf. DM 10.05 million in 1999). In this respect, product turnovers rose by more than 100% against last years result. These figures underline GROUP Technologies AGs successful transformation from a project company to a product enterprise.Pre-tax profits as per DVFA/SG amounted to TDM 564 and therefore surpassed last years result by 14 % (TDM 496). Profits after tax as per DVFA/SG were DM 0.08 per share. Cash flow from business operations amounted to TDM 1,502.On the strength of its flourishing development in the year 2000 and the successful transformation to becoming a product company, GROUP Technologies AG is now well-equipped to achieve its intended growth target and with this its internationalization goal. Even the current and emergent developments for the year 2001 are grounds for the Board to feel satisfied.
