The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– IntraWare AG: Group result for the first six months 2001 above budget – improvement of the group result before taxes for the 2nd quarter 2001 35 percent above previous quarter Petersberg, 28th August 2001 – IntraWare AG was able to reduce the net loss for the year as at 30.06.2001 to minus 3,190 TEUR. This means that the isolated group result before taxes (EBT) for the second quarter 2001 ranges, with minus 1,174 TEUR, 35 percent above the first quarter 2001. Sales of licences during the second quarter 2001 amounted to 867 TEUR and corresponded to the level of the last three quarters. Average service sales rose by 10 percent and reached 1,254 TEUR during the second quarter 2001. Other sales comprised 114 TEUR. Total sales thus reached 2,235 TEUR for the second quarter 2001. Financial resources amounted to 12.3 million Euro as at 30.06.2001. In 2001, the company is focussing on Customer Relationship Management, Total Quality Management and Process and Workflow Management solutions as well as the successful conclusion of the restructuring measures started in November 2000. The extension of Consulting and the integration of Sales and Consulting are supposed to strengthen the sales performance as a supplier of solutions in a lasting manner. With this strengthened sales organisation IntraWare AG intends to reach its targets and to show a neutral result latest by the 4th quarter 2002.
