GROUP Technologies AG confirms Continuing Growth in both Results and Turnover Ad-hoc-announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– GROUP Technologies AG, which offers innovative solutions in E-security and E- organisation, has increased its turnover in the first three quarters of the trading year 2001 compared to the same period in the previous year by over 61%, from DM 7.92 m to DM 12.92 m, underlining once again its very demanding targets for the business year 2001. In the first nine months of business year 2001 the EBIT was 832 TDM (previous year 349 TDM) and the pre-tax result (EBT) was 1,548 TDM (previous year 337 TDM). In the first nine months of 2001 the profit per share was 0.19 DM (previous year 0.03 DM). The turnover is made up of proceeds from licences and maintenance (55% – previous year 43%); projects (30% – previous year 35%) and the sale of trade goods and sundry items (15% – previous year 22%). In the third quarter the company was once again able to acquire some significant new customers – DaimlerChrysler, the ABN Amro Bank and St. Mary’s Hospital Health Care (USA), to name just a few. For the final quarter and for the whole year 2001 the company expects growth to continue due to the positive business trend in licences. However, the current situation does present some commercial risks, particularly as regards the USA.
