The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– IntraWare AG (WKN: 510 450) – Changes in IntraWare ebc-solutions GmbH and IntraWare (Schweiz) AG Petersberg, May 8, 2001 – The corporate management of IntraWare AG has decided to detach the business activities of IntraWare ebc-solutions GmbH from the group. The operational activities of the subsidiary comprise the production and marketing of Web-TV as well as the development of the pertaining software solutions and will not be pursued by IntraWare AG as from May 31 of the current financial year. IntraWare is thus focussing its business activities exclusively on the e-management competence of the group and avoids required investments in a line of business not belonging to its core competence. The management of IntraWare ebc-solutions GmbH is presently looking for alternatives to continue the company independently of the parent company. Another step in the e-management strategy of the enterprise is constituted by the replacement of a large number of the members of the staff and the management team of IntraWare (Schweiz) AG. The goal is to speed up the transition process to become a solution provider in Switzerland. After the growth orientation of recent years, IntraWare AG is now placing its geographic medium-term focus on the markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland in order to utilise the market potential available in these countries. To this end, IntraWare (Schweiz) AG offers, apart from the now enhanced sale of solutions, supporting activities in consultation and service. The management of IntraWare (Schweiz) works on the assumption that the company will make a positive contribution to the group result during this financial year.
