Dear Sir, Capital Raising- $0.5 million Share Placement

GBM Resources Ltd is delight to announce that Cygnet Capital has successfully completed a share placement to sophisticated investors of 25,000,000 fully paid ordinary shares at a price of $0.02 per share to raise $500,000.

This follows the company’s recent successful Entitlement Offer where there had been strong demand by investors to participate in the shortfall. The company has taken this opportunity to further strengthen its cash position by undertaking this placement of shares to be issued at the same issue price as the Entitlement Offer.

This share placement is subject to shareholder approval and a notice of meeting will be dispatched shortly.

The funds raised are to be allocated to the Brightlands copper-gold project near Mount Isa in Queensland. The Brightlands Project lies in the eastern Succession of the Mount Isa Inlier and is the most prolific host for recent significant discoveries including Rocklands Cu Co Au project and the Merlin Mo Rh project.

The company’s recent announcements on the Brightlands project continue to confirm the presence of high grade copper and gold mineralization. Large copper anomalies have been defined at the Milo and Tiger prospects and results from the Range prospect show significant gold values in addition to high copper results.

Field work is currently under way at the Lost Track and Fine Gold Gully prospects which together are the five high order targets which are being prioritised for drilling. Initial phase RC drilling is planned to commence in early August on two of these prospects to confirm the mineral potential with results expected by the end of September.
