Non–Executive Board Appointment

COMPANY DIRECTORS

Australian resources company GBM Resources (ASX: GBZ) ( GBM or the Company ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Lim Chiau Woei as Non-Executive Director of the Company, with immediate effect.

Mr Lim is managing director and major shareholder of Angka Alamjaya SDN BHD (AASB) which owns the Lubuk Mandi Gold Mine in Malaysia. Mr Lim has a wealth of experience in quarrying, construction and property development.

He holds a MBA from Leicester University UK and science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oklahoma State University, USA.

GBM’s Managing Director, Mr Peter Thompson said:

“The Board of Directors is looking forward to working with Mr Lim as the Company moves into its next growth phase of developing and re-commissioning the Lubuk Mandi Gold Mine in Malaysia. Mr Lim’s experience and capabilities of the Malaysian market will bring an additional level of development expertise and financing knowledge and will play an important role in the continued strategic growth of the Company in this region.”

The Company also advises that Mr Sunny Loh has joined the board as a director of AASB.
