Non-Executive Director Changes

Gattaca plc, the specialist engineering and technology recruitment solutions company, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Lawther as Non-Executive Director with effect from 1st June 2018. David will join the Gattaca Audit Committee (becoming its Chair on 1st August 2018) and also become a member of the Gattaca Remuneration Committee.

David, 60, is a Chartered Accountant and was previously CFO and subsequently CEO of AIM-listed Interior Services Group (ISG) plc (2001 to 2016). Prior to this he was Group Finance Director at Wilson Connolly Holdings plc from 1990 to 2001. He is currently Chairman of Syntegra Consulting Ltd and an NED at Ensemble Infrastructure India Ltd.

After nearly 12 years with Gattaca, Ric Piper, our Senior Independent Director and Chair of Audit Committee, will be retiring from our Board on 31st July 2018.

Roger Goodman, who was Chairman of Networkers plc and joined the Gattaca Board in April 2015 following our acquisition of that business, will also be stepping down from the Board on 31st July 2018. At this time there is no intention to appoint a replacement for Roger.

Patrick Shanley, Chairman, said:

"I am very pleased that David has agreed to join the Gattaca Board.  David has extensive experience of operating in people businesses and during his time at ISG grew the retail fit-out company to No.1 position in the UK. He also has extensive International experience having developed ISG's commercial office fit-out business by following its blue-chip clients overseas.

"It is with regret that Ric Piper is standing down after such an outstanding contribution to the business. Ric has stayed on the Board well beyond the normal time period, firstly to help me settle in to the business and then to provide continuity whilst we recruited a new CFO in 2017.

"Roger Goodman is also stepping down at the end of this financial year. Roger joined the Gattaca Board following the acquisition of the Networkers business and intended only to stay for one three year term.

"We wish Ric and Roger well in their future endeavours."
