TRADING HALT
The securities of Gateway Mining Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 10 February 2017 or when the announcement is released to the market.

REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT ON GML SECURITIES
Pursuant to ASX Listing rule 17.1, Gateway Mining Limited (“the Company”) hereby requests a trading halt on its securities with immediate effect pending an announcement in relation to a material transaction.
The Company anticipates that an announcement in respect of the transaction will be made no later than the opening of trading on Friday 10[th] February 2017 and that trading will resume upon compliance with ASX Listing Rule 11.1.3.
The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
